There Are Bells on The Hills..
Dear Reader,

A wondrous miracle has occurred to me. The once thought dead ipod has revived. This previously mourned life source of music died at the same time as the desktop leaving the writer bereft of music.
Now the music has sprung forth again and there is much rejoicing.
Ahhh, the joys of music and dancing will return.

This Too Shall Pass
Dear Reader,

Sadly, all things must pass and even "Birthday Month" shall travel the well worn path to memory.
A heartening thought is "Birthday Month" will return after a full rotation round the sun. This is not meant as a discouragement to the writer's fans to postpone any displays of admiration and respect until next year. Now is always the best time to speak your mind, dear reader, and proclaim your allegiance and devotion to me.

Presents
Dear Reader,
Presents might not be tallied in mere numbers, or price or even thoughtful intent. Presents should be judged upon the reaction of the recipient.
During "Birthday Month", I will receive many tokens of affection bonded through love and other connections. However, there is always one stand-out gift which will be the answer to the writer's secret desires.
In the past, the writer has purchased the gift with personal funds. This year, the desired gift was given by someone very close and much appreciated. The powers of ESP and listening must have been the secret keys to such a fabulous gift.

Birthday Month
Dear Reader,

February is the special time known as "Birthday Month". It is period best to consider all the great and wondrous qualities of the writer.
A celebration of all the incredible feats, wisdom and beauty the writer grants the world through appearances and general being.
So, go and get your writer a thoughtful present which will delight and amuse.

The Bewitching Hour
Dear Reader,
It appears that some people are far and away better than their situations in life and base material.
Stockard Channing was far better than the material deserved. More importantly, Gene Kelly had to be spinning in his grave over the poor characterization of "Joey", a part he originated on Broadway.
It was painful except for the quiet moments with Stockard.

Happy New Year
Dear Reader,

Happy New Year!
Here is to breaking and making New Year's resolutions.
Not a tremendous fan of creating superficial goals unless one is internally motivated to make changes. Outside influences rarely incite changes unless there is something to gain or lose for the individual.
I hope, dear reader, you have much to gain this 2009.

Snow Daze
Dear Reader,
It snowed and snowed and snowed. I slept and ignored the flurries of boredom piling outside my window. Trapped at home without any new books since the library was closed due to inclement weather.
I no longer love snow.

Snow Blind
Dear Reader,

The season of snow and winter solstice is almost upon us. Only a few weeks left before the end of inevitable deluge of goodwill marketing on earth and pieces of commerce thrown against the store walls.
Have you purchased your holiday gifts yet? I thought not. Forget about the material goods and concentrate on the important matters. Open your eyes and see what is the true value at any point during the year.
I hope you have someone special with mistletoe in hand waiting for you.

While I'm Drifting and Dreaming
Dear Reader,

A new plan is in the works for a portion of world domination. Details to follow.
Enjoy the gluttony this holiday and skip the turkey.
