Doh!

Dear Reader,

While surfing the www.nytimes.com web site, I was struck how the obvious turns into NEWS.

I quote a nytimes article "three very different states have embraced three candidates" referring to how three states have chosen three different Republican candidates. Most people feel that the candidates from any political label are unworthy choices. Cruelly, the voting population is forced to select one as the du jour party nominee.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if all the candidates received the same number of delegates votes due to the election results? This way the Republican & Democratic parties would have to make their secret back room wheeling dealings slightly more public rather than claiming the party's candidate was the people's choice.

Can you imagine the supporters of Obama and Clinton trying to broker a deal that place them on the same ticket? Or any of the slinging Republicans duking it out survivor style to align? Now that would sell tickets in any venue.

This could be the battle of all the self-help/love gurus and how they counsel the candidates to embrace fellow candidates and create positive harmonious relationships.

Of course, Oprah would not be at all happy if her main man Obama does not win the election. This is alone would mean that the housewives of middle America would be subjected to more tragic, fate intervening and gender/race equality book choices until the next election.

Groening, this is chance to rip American politics a new one with the Simpsons media. The quirky, sarcastic but sound eye of satire has been the trademark of the Simpsons for many years. Matt, do it for all the little rabbits in the world. Binky needs a laugh right now.
