I took a look at IMDB's top 250 movies as rated by users. Some of the results are tragic. I have personally seen 137 of these title listed as of today's date.
As expected, the majority of the titles are recent releases. Most of the recent releases should deservedly drop quietly from the list in a year or two from now. This should be renamed the "Dummies Guide to Current Releases" and not be a movie goer's guide to cinematic achievement.
